Cassava Cake


Ingredients

8 servings
  1. Batter
  2. 2 packs gratted cassava
  3. 1 can coconut milk
  4. 1/2 can evaporated milk
  5. 2 pcs raw eggs
  6. 1/4 cup butter, melted
  7. 6 tbsp chesse, grated
  8. 1/2 cup condense milk
  9. 14 tbsp sugar
  10. Toppings
  11. 1 can coconut milk
  12. 2 tbsp sugar
  13. 1/2 cup condense milk
  14. 2 tbsp flour
  15. 2 tbsp chesse, grated
  16. 1 piece raw egg

Method

  1. Combine the grated cassava, butter, condense milk, evap milk, chesse, sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
  2. Add the coconut milk in the mixing bowl where the mix ingredients are. Mix again.
  3. Grease the baking tray then pour in the batter (ingredients that has just been mix)
  4. Pre-heat oven for 180°F celcius for 10min then put in the baking tray with batter and bake for 1hr. Remove from oven and set aside
  5. Meanwhile preparevthe toppings by combining the sugar and flour and put in a heated saucepan.
  6. Pour in the condense milk then mix thoroughly.
  7. Add the chesse while stirring constantly.
  8. Pour the coconut milk and stir constantly for 10mins.
  9. Pour the topping over the cassava cake and spread evenly.
  10. Seperate the yolk from the egg white and glaze the topping with the egg white.
  11. Put the cassava cake again in the oven untill colors turn light brown.
  12. Garnish with grated chesse and serve.
