Stuffed lasagna

Great for an appetizer also great to make with leftover lasagna ingredients!

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1 cup maranara
  3. 1 cup bread crums
  4. 1 white onion
  5. 2 cloves garlic
  6. Salt,pepper,dry Italian spices
  7. 1 box lasagna pasta
  8. 1/4 cup red wine
  9. 1 cup ricotta
  10. Fresh basil
  11. 7 eggs
  12. 1 cup flour
  13. Parmeson cheese
  14. Olive oil / veg oil

Method

30 minutes
  1. Cook pasta in boiling water,drain,rince to cool set aside
  2. Make ricotta mixture by adding 1 egg, salt and pepper to taste half a handful of parmeson cheese and chopped fresh basil to ricotta. Mix well set aside.
  3. In a hot pan with oil cook down the chopped onion and garlic
  4. Add red wine let cook down for about 4 minutes
  5. Add ground beef stir often add salt pepper and dry Italian seasonings of ur choice
  6. When beef is browned drain off extra greece
  7. Set up breading station by putting flour and breadcrumbs in separate dishs crack the 6 eggs into a bowl and beat untill smooth
  8. Layout pasta flat place a scoop of riccota mix on one end roll past up untill you have a little "log"
  9. Take the "log" first put it in the flour then the egg then the breadcums making sure the two open ends of the "log" are breaded also
  10. In a good size pot pore about 4 inches of vegetable oil heat till 350 degrees
  11. Place breaded lasagna in got oil covering it completely with oil. Let fry untill golden brown
  12. Plate on Top of a little marinara like in the pic or on the side for dipping sprinkle with pram cheese
